 | Portal Andino WineriesPortal Andino wineries are located 320 kilometers from the city of Mendoza, and 21 kilometers from the city of General Alvear. They were thought in 1998 as family wineries dedicated exclusively to producing quality wines. The company has its own vineyards, which ensures that all our grapes and their care will be managed and controlled by us which turns to be a great strength. Nowadays Portal Andino has a total of 588 hectares, of which 125 hectares are cultivated with vineyards and the rest are used by the company for irrigated pasture and livestock. Our production is close to 50,000 cartons; consequently, working with small amounts makes it possible for us to apply the strict management required by the production of quality wines like the ones we produce. Currently part of our production, about 25%, is exported to world markets and the rest is sold in the domestic market. |
